LEC Environmental Consultants, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Paul R. Lelito. LEC has since grown from an office in Bourne, MA (Cape Cod), to three locations in Massachusetts (Plymouth, Wakefield, and Worcester) and one location in Rindge, New Hampshire.
After many years of diligent effort, Mr. Lelito retired in 2008, and the business was purchased by the current owner and President, Ann M. Marton. Ms. Marton has been working in the consulting business since 1987 and has been with LEC since 1994.
Many federal and state funded projects require participation by a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) or a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). LEC is a certified WBE in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and a certified DBE in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. In addition to our experience and approach to environmental consultation, this certification allows our clients to meet this mandated criterion, while successfully achieving project goals.
